Salford Law School Lady Hale Annual Lecture Series
5 March 2010

On 5 March 2010, the annual Lady Hale Lecture with special guest Sir Christopher Greenwood, the British Judge at the International Court in the Hague, will be hosted by Salford Law School.

Sir Christopher Greenwood CMG QC is a member of the International Court of Justice and Professor of International Law at the London School of Economics.He has appeared in many prominent cases in Europe’s highest courts — the Lockerbie bombing, Pinochet, Kosovo, Rwanda — but he is arguably best known for providing in November 2002 the legal opinion for the invasion of Iraq.

Law school students, staff and special guests will be out in force and dressed to the nines for this year’s annual Salford University Law Society ball. The ball follows on from the annual Lady Hale Lecture and will feature guest of honour, Sir Christopher Greenwood.
